About STSFAN

The STS Food & Agriculture Network (STSFAN) was born out of a set of sessions organized by the AFTeR project (a California-based Agri-Food Technology Research Collaboration) at the 2019 4S (Society for Social Studies of Science) meeting in New Orleans. It is an online intellectual community for emerging and established scholars working at the nexus of Science and Technology Studies and agrifood. The group holds monthly interactive online writing workshops, and members regularly share calls for papers, jobs and fellowships, pedagogies, among other useful information.
